Squirrels are such entertaining creatures to watch, especially when they are darting around trees and performing acrobatics to get to a bird feeder. Their energetic nature and the way they bury nuts, only to forget where half of them are, adds so much life and personality to any backyard or park walk. It is impossible not to smile when catching one pausing with a snack in its paws, completely alert to everything happening around it.
VastaaPoistaThat's so true. And sometimes another squirrel comes along and collects the caches of the one that went before and takes them to its own cache.
